Role of Puppeteer
Being a Canary Cottage Kids on the Block puppeteer is fulfilling and rewarding—and, above all, it is fun!
Responsibilities:
Attend training workshop
Read all material and memorize the necessary scripts
Practice lines and movement of puppets
Attend rehearsals
Perform at schools and for community groups as scheduled
Arrive at least one hour before each performance to help set up equipment
Give credit before or after each performance to The Canary Cottage Kids on the Block, llc.
Perform follow-up activities or see that the teachers have the materials necessary to do so
Become familiar with program topic information
Qualifications:
High motivated
Ability to work as a team member
Ability to memorize scripts
Desire to learn about the program topic
