Our guiding principles
Respect for All People
All individuals have feelings, emotions, needs, and capabilities unique to these persons and their heritage. In a world where all persons differ, everyone should be able to develop to their fullest potential. We believe that all persons can learn and have the right to learn and must be provided with experiences for growth and development: spiritually, morally, aesthetically, socially, physically, and educationally. We further believe that learning is a continuous process from infancy through adulthood.
Prevention and Intervention
Our goals of prevention and intervention work together: We seek to prevent problems before they happen but also serve as a safety net, a way for those in trouble to ask for help. The questions children ask our puppets at the end of each skit are amazing and often quite revealing.
Through candid, honest, and entertaining dialogue, we can teach children to be more tolerant and understanding of differences.
